T-Mobile suspends the Sidekick Slide
On Friday evening, T-Mobile USA suspended the sales of the Sidekick Slide after Motorola (the manufacturer) confirmed a problem that results in powering the device off after the sliding display is opened or closed. Customers who experience such problems should contact T-Mobile Customer Care, or go to a T-Mobile retail store. T-Mobile reminds that this doesn’t affect other Sidekick models.

What else can go wrong with Moto this days? This are the same type of issues most Moto phones have been having lately.. This is just a really bad blow for Moto. IMO, I think what T-Mobile did by suspending all sales of the SLIDE until its fixed was the best thing for them, but not sure this will be a good thing for Moto at all..

I had a customer come into our Authorized Retailer and I told him about this. He called Customer Care and they said it wasn't the issue at hand. I told him what's up. Just thought I'd point that out. You would think Motorola would have tested up the wazoo and found this issue out.
