Surfer takes the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus to the ocean, showcases their water resistance

Apple has made a pretty big deal about the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus' water resistance, but is this feature big enough to turn the tide? There are few men better equipped to answer this question than professional surfer Kai Lenny, who strapped the new iPhones and the older 6s models on his surfboard, hit the Pacific Ocean's waters, then emerged on shore to share the outcome of this peculiar test – filmed with a GoPro camera.
The previous-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus lack water resistance, thus they lasted only around five minutes in the salty waters each before shutting down completely. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, though, pulled through for as many as thirty minutes of action, with only muffled audio output to account for the watery trouble they went through.
Since surfing with your iPhone has officially become an option, we are wishing you a safe ride and happy selfie taking!

Meh. Is there a feature wherein Apple had before the others?

Find my friends, app permissions, 64bit, multitouch, App Store, native video chat, 120fps slow motion, 240fps slow motion, reversible charger, forcetouch with 3rd party support, imbedded FP sensor that works flawlessly, remote lock just to name a few - I just named the imprtant ones to me, there are bunch of behind the UI elements to iOS that are also firsts! But that doesn't matter - my point is all of the stuff Apple had had been around in some form or another - JUST NOT ON A MOBILE PHONE!!! So I'd like to ask you: is there a feature in all of android that it had before others?

Apple has not made a big deal, they just says it is water resistant. Everyone just focus on Apple for some reason. I don't recall all of these stunts when Samsung came out with water resistant phones......

I don't think general public gives a s**t about android devices unless it's cheap or if it's exploding. You troll: you get trolled. Also Samsung had issues with their water resistance and it's confusing which phones have it and which don't - too many Samsung phones to deal with. Apple is straightforward - plus no brand sells an article better than Apple - this is why other manufacturers like Samsung and wp, Xiomimi, hiway, and others mention Apple or iPhone in their commercials. Don't be naive.

It's just a better phone even without water resistance (even though everyone knows the 6/6s had unofficially been water resistant).

wow!!! did i really just read that? i mean how blind a fan can you really be man? at least keep you facts straight. Its ok to be a fan but most of the ifans I see are generally gushing about features that ipoops don't even have. A friend fought with me recently saying iphones have had fast charging since last 3 generations.
