Sprint users unable to send texts around the country today?

A tweet sent by Sprint Care in response to nationwide reports about an SMS outage for the carrier says that Sprint is now aware of the outage. The message continues that Sprint Care is working to restore texting service as soon as possible. Earlier, messages sent in the Sprint Community Forum revealed a nationwide problem for the nation's third largest carrier. Users were able to receive text messages, but when trying to respond to a text or start a new thread, a 2128 error code would show up.

So far, we have read complaints from Sprint users in Minnesota, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Houston and other cities. Any Sprint customers out there still getting the 2128 error code? Has Sprint made the necessary repairs quickly, as they said they would in their tweet? Let us know by commenting in the box below.
