Sony may delay the Xperia Tablet Z launch in the US until May 29

Customers in the United States had to wait quite a bit before they could finally put their hands on the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and, as it turns out, they will have to wait a few days more.

Initially scheduled to launch tomorrow, May 25, in the US, the Xperia Tablet Z is now listed as shipping on May 29 on Sony's official US online store. Newegg has also put the same shipping date, while Amazon currently says that the tablet is temporarily out of stock.

Sony is having a real winner with the Xperia Tablet Z, as the tablet is extremely thin (just 6.9 mm!) and light, making it comfortable to use despite its considerable screen size of 10.1 inches. On top of that, it's also water- and dust-resistant, while the hardware powering it is top-notch (which obviously isn't enough to eliminate all the lag, but that's another story).
