See how Samsung's new Gear VR works with the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge (video)
Samsung outed a new Gear VR Innovator Edition at MWC, that has been adapted to work exclusively with the company's newly unveiled Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, just as rumored.

The previous Gear VR was only working with the Note 4, but this version is now fully optimized for, and compatible with both the Galaxy S6, and the curvy S6 edge. The new Innovator Edition of Samsung's virtual reality contraption is "giving users the opportunity to enjoy Samsung’s unrivaled, fully immersive and cinematic virtual reality experience. It has improved viewing, as well as a more comfortable design."

Talk is cheap, though, so take a look at the thorough video presentation below, that demonstrates the fresh and cool Gear VR Innovator Edition for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.

Like the old GearVR, this one still looks like scubar-diving glasses.

They made one for the Note 4 and another for the S6/Edge, what an absolute con!!. Why couldn't they make an adapter for the Note 4 version to fit the S6/Edge. So everytime a Galaxy S or Note is released they will make another version of the Gear VR. What a Joke Samsung!! Or am I missing somthing here

The Consumer Version of the Gear VR which comes with the Note 5 at the end of the year, might be backwards compatible but these innovator editions are only optimized for their corresponding smartphone model.
