Samsung Galaxy S7 design allegedly revealed, Galaxy S7 Plus could sport a 6-inch screen
Last week, we heard that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 would not bring a major design change compared to the Galaxy S6 series. Now, thanks to several leaked renders, we may have an early look at what no major design change actually means.

Said Galaxy S7 renders were revealed by case maker ITSkins, and show a device that largely resembles the regular Galaxy S6, with one noticeable differences: the home button is now rectangular, and doesn't have the rounded shape of the home buttons included on the Galaxy S6 family. Reportedly, the Galaxy S7 measures 143.37 x 70.8 x 6.94 mm, being just about the same size as the Galaxy S6 (143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8 mm), though a hair thicker. The rear camera bump is there to stay, and so is an accompanying LED flash, plus a heart rate sensor. If these dimensions are correct, the Galaxy S7 certainly sports a 5.1-inch display, like its predecessor.

More interestingly is the fact that, allegedly, there's also a Galaxy S7 Plus handset that measures 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82 mm. This means the S7 Plus is larger than the 5.7-inch Galaxy S6 edge+ (154.4 x 75.8 x 6.9 mm), being about the same size as the 6-inch Galaxy Mega 2 (163.6 x 84.9 x 8.6 mm). Thus, we can assume that the Galaxy S7 Plus sports a 6-inch display.

Of course, for now there's no way to verify the details presented above. Samsung will likely announce the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Plus in February during MWC 2016. What do you hope to see from the S7 series?

What is wrong with it, looks a lot like the sgs6 design that was praised by everyone despite looking like the sgs5 which was booed out....so yeah..

S4 ergonomics with camera dedicated button port, IR blaster port, S4 like home button.. Well maybe it should be called S4 2016 edition.. And repeat massive sales might follow... "just saying"

So doesn't look like an S5 by a longshot. If u mean it's has the familiar look of the Galaxy lineup, then sure.

The regular S6 is ugly in my opinion... The S6 edge looks better though.

Yh exactly! The s6 edge even sold 3x more that s6 it self... Now rumours says there won't be s7 edge! That the edge version would come with 5.7 inch screen! I like WTF samsung? Am I suppose to "BY FORCE" go to a bigger screen just because I want to upgrade from an s6 edge? Cos the obviously don't expect me to go from "edge screen" back to "flat screen"

Camera Hump Is The Worse. And I Remember When Those Prototype S6''s Were Leaked, Everyone Hated Them But The Finished Product Was Praised For Its Design. As Far As This Leak Goes Pic 3 Looks Bad I Don't Like It, Seems Different From The Green Pics Somehow.

REMOVABLE BATTERY MICRO SD DURABLE NON-GLASS CONSTRUCTION

this is a fake left overs from last years. it's been covered by most tech sites that we are getting the SD card back and bigger battery. I wouldn't be surprised to see metal removable back plate for sd and removable battery

They will have use type c this time. They won't repeat the mistake not offering it on the Note 5.

Samsung doesn't want to leak anything yet , it is from Chinese Manufactory Things work like , an insider steal the data for the phone's size and etc , sell it to only one person for 10K , then the one gonna sell it to next level for 4 persons for 3000 , these 4 gonna sell it for more , just one by one , pass down

The home button looks different now. The rectangle button looks better than the round design.

That's Galaxy S4! I think the GS6's Home button was better.

Gs6 home button is better unless they change the fingerprint scanner. You have to completely cover the button to get 100% accuracy and the rectangle will be even harder for people with small fingers to completely cover. It should be rounder than the one on the GS6 but not a full circle or isheep will cry foul like typical north american whiny behaviour.

Unless your finger are smaller than that of a 5 year old, I think the shape of the button doesn't matter. The point is being able to get the print needed for the image so you can unlock without a swipe. Look how small it is with its present shape.
