Samsung Corby S3650 – affordable and youthful

Just recently we got to know the Samsung S3650's nickname - Corby, and now it seems the phone is ready to flood European stores. This is going to happen in mid-September, and its price will be around $215 (EUR 150). Sounds tempting enough, especially having in mind the features that come with it. Here's what you'll get...

The Samsung Corby S3650 will have a 2.8-inch touch-sensitive QVGA screen, 2-megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS and a microSD slot (for up to 8 GB). The device is quad-band, but doesn't feature 3G and will rely on EDGE when it comes to internet connectivity. Such connectivity will actually be quite needed, as one of the main selling points of the Corby is to allow access to social networks like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Keeping track of status updates and the likes will be achieved through Pop-up SNS. Users should be able to easily switch the phone's interface betwenn TouchWiz and Cartoon UI, with the latter making its debut here.

The Samsung Corby S3650's appearance will also be easy to change, thanks to the two additional back panels that will come in the box. As you can see, the colors that the handset is to come in are rather fresh, and the manufacturer promises a great number of color variations.
