Pigeons smuggle cell phones into prison
It was bound to happen with someone pondering some way of smuggling items illegally into jail.  Taking a page directly out of history books, carrier pigeons are being trained to send items such as mobile phones to people behind bars. Authorities stationed in a Sorocaba prison, 62 miles away from Sao Paolo, intercepted two pigeons en route with a phone and charger. There have been alternate ways in the past other than the use of birds to smuggle contraband such as drugs, weapons, and money. Criminal networks have been trying to come up with almost any ingenious ideas to be one step ahead. Maybe they may even train moles to dig right under a prison and hand them over that sleek new phone they’ve dreaming about in the slammer?
