OnePlus faces lawsuit in Europe over use of Dash trademark
OnePlus is on the verge of revealing a new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6T, but the Chinese company is also in the middle of a debate regarding the use of the word Dash for its charging technology.

As many of you probably know, OnePlus tried to trademark the Dash Charge brand in the United States and Europe, but Amazon and Bragi prevented it from obtaining the trademark. Bragi, a European audio company, uses the Dash branding for its wireless earphones long before OnePlus even though about trademarking the name.

Although OnePlus has already started the process of replacing the Dash Charge name with another one (Warp Charge) about two months ago, it appears the Bragi didn't want to wait for the smartphone company to phase out the old name.

Bragi has filed a lawsuit against OnePlus over the use of its already trademarked “Dash” brand. We have yet to learn the details of the filings, but this might be over very soon, and not in OnePlus's favor considering the Chinese company has already been denied the “Dash” trademark in the EU.
