Nokia 808 PureView vs Nokia Lumia 920 image stabilization test (video)
Nokia 808 PureView is undoubtedly the king when it comes to smartphones cameras in any category imaginable, but it doesn't sport one feature that makes the Nokia Lumia 920 stand out - optical image stabilisation.

Now the dream smartphone camera unit would be a combination of those two, but until that moment in time arrives from Nokia's research labs, the folks over at the PureView Club mounted both Nokia camera wonders on one and the same vehicle dashboard, and drove off.

The moral of the story was to showcase what difference the suspension mechanism inside the Lumia 920 makes, even against a camera engineering wonder like the 808 PureView. The little springs and suspension mechanisms around the Lumia 920's 8 MP camera module compensate for up to 500 movements per second, making for an incredibly smooth and steady video even when hitting potholes.
