LG G3 Vigor (a G3 s variant) headed to Sprint

9comments
We first heard about the LG G3 Vigor in early July, and now we know that the smartphone should be released in the US soon. According to a leaked document, Sprint is getting ready to launch the G3 Vigor, and MyLGPhones has it that the handset should go on sale later this month.

The G3 Vigor is Sprint’s version of the LG G3 s / G3 Beat, which was officially announced last month. Reportedly, the G3 Vigor carriers the model number LS885 (this was previously believed to be an LG G2 mini variant).

Running Android KitKat, the G3 Vigor features a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, 8 MP rear camera with laser autofocus, 1 GB of RAM, and a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor. There’s 8 GB of expandable internal memory, and the handset’s battery is a 2540 mAh one.

Reportedly, Sprint will sell the G3 Vigor in three color versions: purple, red, and titan black. There’s no word on how much new smartphone will cost. However, it should be offered for around $350 off-contract (judging by the price of the G3 s for Europe). Sprint is already offering the high-end, 5.5-inch LG G3, and the G3 Vigor will (probably) be a good choice for customers who want a smaller and cheaper alternative.
