HTC EVO 4G in white expected to be a Best Buy exclusive
It's becoming quite too common for us to see handsets launch in one specific color at first with the second iteration being white – like the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and Nokia E71. Apparently the pristine white finish exudes an aura that proves to be appealing and rather quite different from the usual medley of darker colors that most phones utilize. Now it looks as though the HTC EVO 4G will soon be doing the same as our anonymous tipster has informed us that a white version of the power house Android smartphone will be making its way to Best Buy stores starting on July 11. The retailer will in fact have an exclusivity period on the device until some time in August with pre-orders for the handset going live today. If you were one of the people who decided to wait it out and not jump head first with the device during launch week, it would appear to have been a smart move now that this color option will soon be available. Pricing is no different from what other owners have paid for the handset, but of course, you'll be sporting the more interesting and eye catching color out of the two.

Thanks to our anonymous tipster!
