Gameloft's Gangstar New Orleans out now on Android and iOS

As expected, the GTA-like Gangstar New Orleans mobile game by Gameloft has just made its debut on both the Android and iOS platforms. Although the game was soft-launched weeks ago, it was only available in a couple of countries. Starting today, Gangstar New Orleans is available worldwide for free (with in-app purchases).

Gameloft is trying to bring an open world setting to gamers who prefer smaller screens. The game allows players to roam the city streets of New Orleans while taking on biker gangs, crooked cops and even Voodoo priests (yes, you read that right).

Your ultimate goal is to claim the Big Easy as your own criminal turf, and you can employ any means necessary to achieve this mission. The game features a robust campaign that enables players to shoot their way through story missions, which take place in varied districts of New Orleans.

The character you'll be playing is fully customizable, so make sure to take advantage of the full range of options included in the game. On top of that, you can equip, fuse and evolve hundreds of weapons, vehicles, and gangsters to match your play style.

According to Gameloft, Gangstar New Orleans features triple-A graphics, as well as a great soundtrack that should help players immerse into the world of gang wars, shooting action and gangsters.

Just another GTA knock-off like every other Gameloft game.

I'm wondering if this title utilizes Vulkan API...Mobile gaming really isn't what it should be considering the installbase...People are cheap for no reason.

Doubt it Gameloft is known for knock-off mobile games, not for their good coding
