Galaxy Photo Screen Lock lets you put photo slideshows on your Android lock screen

Galaxy Photo Screen Lock lets you put photo slideshows on your Android lock screen
Want to thoroughly customize your Android smartphone’s lock screen? There’s a new app, called Galaxy Photo Screen Lock, that lets you do just that.

As its name suggests, the app is made for Samsung Galaxy smartphones. It’s been tested on the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy S III, but it could work on other Android handsets, too - even if they’re not made by Samsung.

So, what exactly is Galaxy Photo Screen Lock allowing you to display on your lock screen? Quite a lot of stuff: a slideshow of any photos you want, notifications, battery status, weather forecast, plus date and time. In addition to a slideshow of your favorite photos, you can also choose a different background image for the lock screen.

The Galaxy Photo Screen Lock app doesn't cost a dime, and requires Android 4.0 or later. It’s a newly developed app, and seems to be a bit buggy on some Galaxy phones. Even so, if you like the idea, give it a try by downloading it at the source link below.
