Dell Streak Froyo update brings a Dell Stage interface and Swype
The official Android 2.2 update for the 5" Dell Streak has been rolled out, and it brings a new Dell Stage interface addition, Swype as input method, and some cosmetic UI changes, plus the usual Froyo niceties.

Dell Stage arranges your homescreens in a scrollable strip for easy access, and works both in landscape or portrait modes. The other biggie is that Dell has disposed with its virtual keyboard that had a numpad, and placed Swype as default.

Some additional finishing touches are integrated in the interface, as, for example, turning the network icon to "H" for areas with HSPA+ coverage, instead of "3G" being the only option for high-speed data coverage areas.

It is expected that Best Buy will be selling the Dell Streak in different colors for the crazy shopping season. Do you think that the design twists, and the update to Froyo make the 5" smartphone irresistible now?
