Deal: Apple Watch Series 1 on sale for as low as $149 at Walmart

Deal: Apple Watch Series 1 on sale for as low as $149 at Walmart
At the end of this year, Apple Watch Series 1 will celebrate two years from its market release. In the meantime, Apple launched two more smartwatch models that compete with each other.

Naturally, the older Apple Watch Series 1 is the cheaper of the three and if we're taking into consideration the discounts some of the retailers in the United States offer from time to time, Apple fans can score great deals.

For example, Walmart is now selling the Apple Watch Series 1 38mm for just $150, although the smartwatch is usually available for $250. The slightly larger Apple Watch Series 1 42mm is on sale as well for $180, which means you'll be saving around $110 when you buy it.

Both versions of the Apple Watch Series 1 come with either Black or White bands, so you'll get to choose. Also, Walmart offers free 2-day shipping to anyone who purchases the Apple's smartwatch.

And yet people like to claim that Apple Watches are flying off the showroom like hot cakes from the oven, ha! In my experience; my old $16 Casio Digital Wristwatch is better than that so called 'smart' watch. That Casio has been ticking for almost 5 years straight now and if Casio's claims are true then its destined to tick for yet another 5 years. I wear it everyday rain or shine and truth be told; I'm starting to get sick of it. I might toss it in a river... Shouldn't take more than one sad song and a bottle of cheap vodka! My bet is on "Dust in the wind"... G'Day!

Yup, probably the best song in the world! It really put things into perspective. That life and death is just... Meaningless. Anyhow; thanks!

sissy246 you seriously need a job or something, your obsession with stalking Apple articles is disturbing. Sorry retirement isn’t working out for you.

It could mean that the Series 1 is being discontinued to make way for a new model at WWDC. But even with large discounts you can’t deny it’s the best selling smart watch whether you like it or not.

That's one hell of a deal. Series 1 is still a top rated device - if I had an iPhone I would buy this no hesitation.
