CyanogenMod CM14 (Android 7.0 Nougat) ROM rolls out to the OnePlus 3
Aside from its good specs and agreeable price, one of the reasons why the OnePlus 3 has continued the brand's cult legacy is that it's extremely dev-friendly. A thriving segment of the Android community love to hack and modify their beloved devices, and the OnePlus 3 makes this relatively painless. If you're rocking a OnePlus 3 and happen to enjoy playing around with the lauded CyanogenMod, you'll be pleased to learn that an unofficial CM14 ROM can now be downloaded and installed on your handset.

It's still at the testing stage so does arrive with a few bugs, but this is assumed knowledge to the seasoned modder. It's said to be quite an unstable experience for now, with the camera being the main feature currently out of action. Still, for the most part, the Android 7.0 Nougat-based CM14 build is said to be relatively functional, right down to gesture controls.

It isn't recommended that this unofficial CM14 build be installed on a daily runner, per the release page over at XDA-Developers. But if you have a spare OnePlus 3 knocking about, you can hit up the source link and get started right away.

Additionally, the good folks at XDA have shared a video of the ROM in action, which you can check out below:
