Beats Music for Android gets update
It's a tad ironic that on the day that the EU approves Apple's acquisition of Beats Audio, the Android version of Beats Music receives an update. A big red check mark will now signify that a profile has been verified by Beats. The update also allows Android users to see the most recently played songs from the Sentence. And the Tune your Taste feature in Settings allows you to change your favorite artists and genre. No longer a fan of  Cee Lo Green? Listening to British Invasion group Freddie and the Dreamers? Make the changes and the Just For You recommendations will reflect your new taste.

Beats Music has a library of over 20 million tunes from different genres. The service is ad-free and there is a 14 day free trial. After the trial period expires, you will have to pay $9.99 per month or $99.99 a year. AT&T subscribers receive a three-month free trial of the service.

The update to Beats Music for Android should be waiting for you right now at the Google Play Store. You can go to My apps at the Store and follow the prompts for the update.
