Assassin's Creed 2 gets released to only get removed from the App Store
With its console version already being gobbled up by video game fanatics, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 2 for the iPhone has slowly made an appearance on the App Store – briefly that is. Before you could literally click the download button, it was quickly removed without hesitation – it was speculated that it wasn’t a final version and was littered with bugs. In addition, its staggering price of $11.99 seemed a bit pricey for a handheld game – even for something on the App Store. There might have been some special features to justify such a high price point – like the ability to use the camera feature to take a photo of your face so it’s plastered on all the wanted posters in the game. Hopefully things get ironed out in time so that the experience doesn’t leave gamers with a sense of regret when they purchase it.
