Apple posts full "new iPad" introduction event online
This was quick - Apple just posted the full video of its announcement of the “new iPad.” A mere hour after the “special event” at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, you can dive in the atmosphere of a hall full of journalists waiting for the next big thing from Apple.
You also get to see Tim Cook directing the whole event for the first time since the passing of the iconic iCEO Steve Jobs. There were also appearances from all familiar faces from Apple - Phil Schiller took on stage with his brilliant presentations skills, and game developers also stepped up to present their latest app creations for that luscious new display and power.
And the third iPad is virtually every bit as exciting as we hoped it to be - a high-res Retina display, the new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and better, 5-megapixel “iSight” camera. Plus, it keeps the $499 starting point for pricing.
