Additional BlackBerry Slider pictures leaked
The BlackBerry Slider that's been floating around of late surely has a shroud of mystery hanging around its veil as there were even more photos leaked. Although some would consider it to follow the name of the Storm series, now it points that its name could follow the path of the Bold series with the potential 9700a as the model number – but there's no doubt that this hybrid takes away some design ques found both on the Storm and Bold 9700 models. It's still anyone's guess if it does indeed sport a SurePress touchscreen as it has yet to be powered on to validate the rumors floating around. If it does have some things in common with the Storm, it's rumored to be a worldwide phone packing support for both CDMA and GSM flavors. In addition, there isn't any labeling on the camera to indicate how many megapixels it's packing – although it was speculated to be a 5-megapixel shooter at first, it's now probably more believable to be a 3.2-megapixel one. Finally to show off further how its form factor compares to an existing model like the BlackBerry Curve 8900, you can clearly see how it's both longer and thicker in design. The key element to shattering all of these rumors lies in the device powering on to show off what operating system is running. Until that happens, the only thing anyone can really do for now is speculate if this device will indeed sport a touchscreen or not.
