Google Play Store now selling the Snap Case for your Nexus 5
The price of the Snap Case is $29.99, and the case protects the side and the back of the phone. And sure, you might think that the cost is high for a piece of plastic, but this is no ordinary plastic. It has the Google logo stamped on the back! The case is currently in stock and orders will leave the Google warehouse in one to two days after the order is received. Want one for you or a friend/family member? Click on the sourcelink below.
The Nexus 5 is approaching its five month birthday, which it will celebrate at the end of this month. Just a random thought. What happens to Google's naming scheme after the Nexus 6?

Because I need to pay 5-10 times more for a basic plastic case with the "Google" logo.

Well the Nexus line is going to either end at 6 or the new Nexus handset will be called the Nexus 5 QHD or the Nexus 5 2014. Just like the new Nexus 7 was called the Nexus 7 FHD or Nexus 7 2013.

Why pay that much for a cheap plastic case when Spigen offers better cases for half the price with twice the quality.

I'd take a clear and a black version if
$10-$15 a piece.
Non at $30 though.
Scored a nice Incipio locally on sale for $20.

The official bumper case is better. This seems very plastic, while the official bumper case is more rubbery and premium looking.

The official bumper case sucked balls... As well as the finish quality being horrible, mines started pealing within a couple weeks, the buttons were difficult to press... Diztronic offers a much better case with similar protection and better ergonomics

This should have been released 5 months ago, not months before specs of the 6 start to "leak", also spigen neo hybrid is where its at, I've had the case a few months and I have to say it is indeed the cats pajamas
