EISA 2009 awards – the winners
EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) has announced the cream of the crop cell phones in a variety of categories that, unlike its name suggests, are not centered on the audio and image quality devices deliver. So, here are the winners that made it off with the gold:

The Nokia E75 is the best European business phone thanks to its handy keyboard, proper email functionality and compact size.

The Europe´s best music phone award goes to the Sony Ericsson W995. This is truly the most capable Walkman series handset on the market, plus it features a really good camera, but since we happen to love innovations, we would rather recommend the Samsung BEAT DJ.

The Samsung Omnia HD i8910 is EISA´s choice of best camera phone on the continent. The award is well deserved, since this is the only handset capable of capturing HD resolution video as of now, plus its 8-megapixel camera delivers awesome snapshot quality.

Apple iPhone 3GS is THE smartphone of Europe. Quite logical, given the Palm Pre is not available there.

The LG ARENA KM900 is regarded by EISA as the most eco-friendly handset in EU. According to an analysis by SIM Recycling, the materials and technologies used in its production have set a new standard for environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.
