WireFly reveals the Verizon Wireless Salute which is ZTE's first phone for the carrier
Again we're seeing one of Verizon's indirect partners reveal a handset before the carrier officially announces it to the world – much like the Samsung Gusto from last week. Thanks to WireFly, this time around we're getting a sneak peek on the Verizon Wireless Salute which is actually ZTE's first handset for the carrier. This mid-range vertical slider sports a QVGA display, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, and support for VZ Navigator. If this happens to strike a chord with your unique taste, then you can head on over to WireFly's site where you can grab the handset for the 2-year contract price of free. Conversely, you can wait around for this to make its presence in Verizon stores nationwide in the next few weeks, but there is no information regarding its pricing. In any event, we'd imagine it to fall somewhere that's reasonable to the pockets – so don't worry about it costing you an arm or a leg.
