Three Galaxy Tab 4 models confirmed by Samsung?

We were expecting to see the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series at MWC 2014, but that did not happen. The only new Android device announced by Samsung at MWC was the Galaxy S5 smartphone. The South Korean company also unveiled the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, and Gear Fit.

So what happened to the new Galaxy Tab 4? We don’t know yet, but it seems that Samsung is confirming the new family of tablets in an image that lists some devices which are compatible with the Gear Fit smart band. According to the image, which was obtained by French website Planete Galaxy, Samsung is readying a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, a Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 - just as previously rumored. Unfortunately, the new tablets haven’t been pictured yet.

The Galaxy Tab 4 line shouldn’t be as expensive as the Galaxy TabPRO series. We’re hearing that the common features of the Tab 4 7.0, Tab 4 8.0 and Tab 4 10.1 include quad-core Snapdragon 400 processors and displays with 800 x 1280 pixels. Android KitKat is expected to be on board.

Hopefully, Samsung will announce this new series of Galaxy tablets soon.

Oh joy, three more pieces of over priced tech that no one wants. What are they gonna put on the back of this one a blood pressure monitor?

I think you are getting innovation and useless gimmicks confused. Why put a heartbeat sensor on a 5.2" phone that Samsung want you to sync with a watch that has a heartbeat sensor??

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Samsung has more gimmick than innovation.

I'm pretty sure, just look at the Galaxy S4 for example, many of those smart features are gimmick, when you use the phone for the first time you will think it's special and you will use it for a little while, but after that, you won't use those features anymore. And the Galaxy S5, the heart rate monitor is just useless, you're not a heart patient so why would you use it? The Gear smartwatches already have a heart rate monitor, and why the phone have it as well? HeartbeatCEPTION?

A gimmick after all is technology, and technology can be innovation. ( Not saying all of the gimmicks on Sammy's devices are useful )

WAT~?! Fit and other wearables are only available for limited amount of devices? Like my Ace 2 won't work? Well that's a deal breaker for me. Pebble here I come. ~.~

BTW, Tab 4 is pretty useless and going to be overpriced anyway...Snapdragon 400 won't cut it anymore, Sammy. Learn from others, for example, G PAD.

Samsung's tablets are not worth buying, for example, the Galaxy Tab 3 series. There are many tablets out there that's cheaper and better than the Galaxy Tab 3 series. I bet the Galaxy Tab 4 series will continue the Tab 3 style.

Agreed. Completely average devices with average everything. Tab 3 8.0 I've tried is reasonably pleasant to hold and as a black model, it looks quite good, but that's about it.

The only Android tablet worth getting is a Samsung LTE tablet. All of them had phone capability that why Samsung is getting a larger tablet market share. Hater are getting more bitter each day. They let emotion rules them over.i buy Samsung because I get more value for my money. Phone -> only brand that had both removable battery and micro SD card. Tablet -> only brand tablet that offer phone capability for all their 3G/LTE phone. Only brand tablet that qualified for phone subsidies. So hater you do the Maths why Samsung is the top Android brand.

I said it, haters displaying emotional bitterness! But to the general public its only a process of getting a toy. They do spec comparison and buy the one that give them the best value for their money.

If there's any truth to these rumored specifications, Samsung should really be ashamed of themselves. There's been absolutely no change in the 1280 X 720 resolution since the original GT was released in 2011 & the other internals are basically just as stagnant. I wouldn't have an issue with these specifications if they were priced to reflect them appropiately_ but knowing Samsung we'll be looking at high range prices for low - mid tier hardware. At minimum the GT4 8.0 & 10.1 needs to come in tow with a 1080p AMOLED panel, 2GB RAM, & a SD Pro/600 chipset to even be taken serious as a contender in this years tablet space.
