The sexiest smartwatch around - Moto 360 in champagne gold surfaces briefly on Amazon

Those who enjoy wearing their mobile hardware in Gold will be pleased to learn that the Moto 360 is about to show up in golden threads. An all-metal champagne gold Moto 360 appeared on Amazon, in both 18mm (slim) and 23mm (wide) band variants. It's not just the strap that's golden - the whole smartwatch, including its software watch face, has been ennobled.

Sadly, the listings disappeared soon after, and Motorola is staying tight-lipped about it, but the cat is out of the bag. In addition to the golden Moto, a new styling with a silver body and brown leather strap popped up. The fancy name for this shade is "cognac". Ahoy, sailor!

It seems the gold color version will cost a steeper $299 while the cognac flavor will be priced at a regular $250. There's no word when they'll be officially announced and available, but the gold Moto 360 is a total watch-making classic!

My initial thoughts were that the Moto 360 looks much much better than the G R, but after watching dozens of hands on reviews and head to head comparison, not only is it better, faster with a better screen, sensors and battery life, but also the LG G R is the better looking out of the pair. LG did an amazing job in designing their watch.

It is too masculine though, so for women this 360 is better off. Also, this is a more fashionable watch where as the G R is more sporty. There is a market for both and my personal preference would be the 360, if I had to choose.

With the update recently, battery life has greatly improved on the Moto 360. Look at the latest update. Not to mention the watch can be paired to a Bluetooth headset directly now. So you can install music directly on the watch. Granted they only have 4gb of storage, but thats more then enough for any exercise.

I like the face. I'd have to see it in person. Not a fan of gold colored watches. I'm not near retirement yet.

the black bar at the bottom of the screen ruined it for me, no thanks.

I've had the Moto 360 for less then a month and you barely notice the digitizer and the ambient light sensor. I got used to in almost as soon as I bought it.

I give them props for their marketing efforts. I hope people notice that in no pictures do they ever show the watch how it actually looks out in the real world. Meaning with display off. It might look good for the 4 seconds the display is on, but for the 99.9% of the rest of the time, you just have a black hole on your wrist whether it is surrounded by a silver color, gold color, or any other color.

I am still undecided on which one I will get between the 360, G Watch R, or Zen Watch. I think I will probably go with 360 since it is coming out first.
