That's Incredible! New HTC handset could be available at Verizon in 2 weeks

After reading enticing stories about the HTC Incredible over the past month,Verizon customers and cellphone fans alike have been constantly waiting for more news on the phone, many already deciding that it would be their next handset. If that's the case, you might have your new HTC Incredible in your hand quicker than you thought you might. A tipster over at Engadget claims that information gleaned from internal Verizon sources suggests that the Incredible will be available for purchase from the carrier in just 2 weeks. The information includes word of the underclocked 1GHz Snapdragon processor, set at 768MHz. Other features include an 8MP camera, 512MB of DRAM and a 1300mAh battery. Throw in Sense UI on top of Android 2.1 and similar dimensions to the Nexus One; the result is a phone so incredible that it could start answering the dreams of Verizon customers very soon.
