T-Mobile to receive GSM version of Motorola Sholes?
Did the phone doctor tell T-Mobile to take a tablet and call in the morning? According to pictures that Tmo News received from one of it's tipsters, an internal Motorola web site shows that a GSM version of the Motorola Sholes handset and a Sholes tablet are both heading to the nation's number four carrier. The picture is actually from a MotorBlur web site that is for reps only. The site reads "Sholes UMTS T-Mobile US" and "Sholes Tablet T-Mobile US". The Sholes tablet appeared on a Motorola road map leaked by U.K. web site dial a phone a bit over 2 weeks ago and shows a first quarter 2010 launch overseas at a price of about 350 EUR, which translates into approximately $518 USD. With the possibility of adding the Sholes and the HTC HD2 to its' lineup, T-Mobile customers are going to have some very powerful handsets to choose from.

I'm in the middle of switching from Verizon to T-Mobile because Verizon's coverage has dropped to basically 0 at my house (every call drops, etc), but I really wanted to get my first Android phone and I was bummed I was jumping ship right as the Droid came out. The phone looks awesome and I thought I would have to do out, but now I'll still be able to get it on T-Mobile, awesome!

I'm hoping this isnt a sick joke motorola. They should have just screwed the cliq and went for sholes in the first place. I'm diggin the silver gsm version over the gold copper cdma anyway. but idk... it kinda seems too good to be true. fingers crossed

LOL oddmanout, ever heard of business? The motorola cliq isn't targeting the highest end users. The cliq is more of the higher end of medium phones. While the software pre-installed on the device may target the slightly younger crowd, the phone itself is an excellent piece of hardware. T-mobile is using the cliq to make money so it can target the high tech market as well.

I really think they released the Cliq first because of the few month Exclusivity deal but I am so excited to see that not only the Phone but the Tablet could both be released on T-Mobile of Course along with the HD2, 2010 is REALLY going to be the year T-Mobile begins to REALLY Shine!
