Sign of the times: Australian McDonald's now hiring through Snapchat

3

Living in Straya, the Land Down Under? Is working at McDonald's a life goal of yours? Do you wake up and go to bed with Snapchat in mind?

If the answers to all the above questions are positive, then there's literally nothing from stopping you from applying for a job in the international fast-food empire. McDonald's Australia has recently introduced the so-called "Snaplications", which require applicants to share a 10-second video of themselves in a McDonald's uniform over Snapchat. If the fast-food HR department really digs your snap, you'll be further contacted to continue with the application process.

...But do you want fries with that?

According to people close to the matter, McDonald's is looking for potential employees with lots of "positivity" and "bubbly personality" which will cope well in customer service.

That is absolutely vital for the fast-food corporation and the wildly-popular ephemeral messenger does a pretty good job at bringing the best out in millennials' artistic creativity, sort of.

If that's not a sign of the times we currently live in, we don't know what is. The only things missing are a pregnant giraffe and a random @POTUS tweet.
