Results: wide-angle lens is more important than Portrait Mode?

In 2017, most flagships have camera quality down — if you are spending the big bucks on a handset, you should generally rest assured that it'll make nice photos. Sure, there are some differences between brand X and brand Y, which we can bicker over relentlessly as we compare them side by side. But, fact is that by themselves, each of these phones has a good camera. And manufacturers know that, which is why they started to figure out other ways to differentiate themselves.

Call them extra features or call them gimmicks... we have AR masks, beautify modes, extreme slow motion modes, portrait and optical zoom, wide-angle lenses, and so on. A different combination of them on every different phone. But which one is the most important feature for the users out there?

We thought we'd ask our community. Here's how that poll went!

Low Light shouldn't be considered an extra feature at all. It should be a main feature

Optical zoom and portrait mode for me, I hate the wide angle cameras that get a heavy distortion around the edges, looks terrible

The latest LG V30 proved you wrong when it comes to wide angle images.

Optical zoom + portrait mode = iPhone X, which has a >%55 likability. Wide angle = LG only has %30

Good point, LG should consider a third camera or the software of Pixel 2 cameras. However, it is rumored that Huawei will make cameraphone with 3 lenses, if that is the case then why not all of these extras become available in near future.

If you've ever used a wide angle camera (which is not many) then you'll understand how important and awesome it is for landscape pictures. Honestly, you can stand around for a long time trying to use panorama or just take a single wide angle snap.

Apple fans can't accept this because iPhones their phones aren't wide angle.
