Results: despite its price, the iPhone X is grabbing hearts

So, Apple announced three new phones — as expected —, and two of them were reiterations of the 4-year-old design — as expected —, while the third one was the radical all-screen iPhone X... as expected. Man, these leaks really kill the excitement of such events, don't they?

In any case, a lot of the rumors about the iPhone X turned out to be untrue. It doesn't have a Touch ID sensor embedded in the glass, it doesn't have a “control strip” at the bottom, it doesn't shoot lasers, and can't make you a latte. Some would say it's basically an animoji machine with a large display.

But is it really? We thought we'd check excitement levels — would you go for an iPhone 8 that has most of the same hardware as the X, but a lower price tag, or would you shell out for the “futuristic” iPhone X? Well... here's how that poll went:

iPhone 8 / Plus or iPhone X?

iPhone 8 / Plus is good enough for me
