Now official, the Samsung Galaxy A9 is unveiled in China
The Samsung Galaxy A9 is now official. Introduced in China, this is the new high-end model for the Galaxy A series. While pricing and availability are still unknown, we now have the final specs for the device. The Galaxy A9 comes with a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 652 SoC (formerly the Snapdragon 620), carrying an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 510 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of internal memory.

Both the 13MP rear camera and the 8MP front-facing camera come with an aperture of f/1.9. The snapper in back also features OIS. Galaxy A9 users will find a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, and a dual SIM slot is offered. The 4000mAh battery will charge quickly, and the handset supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi,  Bluetooth 4.1, ANT+ and NFC connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 uses the same metal and glass build found on the other Galaxy A handsets. Color options are White, Gold and Pink.
