Humor: Flow chart provides a simple decision guide to determine if you should really get the Apple Watch

Humor: Flow chart provides a simple decision guide to determine if you should really get the Apple Watch
Monday was a day where time was re-invented, or at least that is how the hype building up to an official announcement of the Apple Watch was trying to convey.

We already knew the watch was coming, and we already had rough ideas how much the various models of the watch were going to cost – reasonable to obscene is as good a price range as any.

The question remains though, should you get one? The Apple Watch is unlike any other Apple product, there are multiple options to choose from, even along the Apple Watch Sport line. There are two sizes to choose from, multiple colors, several different types of wrist straps, and the choices expand from there as the build materials become more precious.

Normally, Apple gives up two, or three different choices within a particular product. For the middle-tier Apple Watch, there are no less than 20. The Apple Watch Sport makes due with 10, and even if Apple has an idea about limiting options with the Watch Edition, it’s a safe bet that people getting ready to spend $10,000, or more, are going to want a few things their way.

Thankfully, the dynamic duo that is Nitrozac & Snaggy at The Joy of Tech has the situation well in-hand. Following their clearly delineated decision flow chart, you can determine which Apple Watch is for you, right down to the last option. Quick and painless, just the way the Apple faithful like it.

After can you afford it there should be like: are you willing to buy an expensive device that will be outdated in under a year IMO "normal" watches or no watch for now until smartwatches mature and don't get outdated in under a year

They are trying to make it seem like there is a ton of models. There is only one model. Two different sizes of the one model, with different material finishes. Bands are a different story. Because even if Apple came out with a completely different style next year, or went with a round watch style. I am sure Apple would keep the same exact bands for their new watch.

Yes to you and me there is but I noted many youtubers go on about them like they are loads of models, no joke, this is all wrong for an apple product, 1st it's not got its own name, so will never get its on listing on site like the iPad does over tablets, 2nd there are to many products, due to the way they display them on there site and 3rd it's not iphone easy to use, it's got an os like something samsung will come up with, but they did it the right way, ha

Wow...thanks to PA's excessive coverage, it has turned my 'no thanks' into a more resounding, straightforward 'FU** NO'...

Look at your post. Now look at Johnny Cash in your avatar. That sums up my feelings on the Apple Watch.

They just released an anticipated product by many. I didn't see you complaining a week ago when it was the Galaxy. Take it easy, people like other stuff than you. Also, why does every apple article get trolled so hard? There's always so many apple haters yet every Apple article consistenty has the most activity. If I had my own phone website I would name it androidphones.com and just review apple stuff. It would break the Internet with crying fanboys.

Not a fan of the S anything either, FYI. Give me an LG, a Moto, or a non-Windows Nokia. Lately PA is pandering to the mainstream, hypebeast types. Buried in all this s*it coverage is an actually really good story about the Asus Zenphone 2 with 4GB of RAM...that's worth some reading. F*** the iWatch... you can get it out of a gumball machine along with John Cena's old WWE spinner championship belt...

PA are a bunch of sheeps what do u expect from them a 50 PAGE ARTICLE two days straight.

In all fairness, PA covered the GS6 launch extensively. You cannot complain about how they cover the launch of the Apple Watch. Whether you get it or not, that's entirely your choice.

All what you said guys prove your frustrations and your inferiority feeling. Can't wait to put this fabulous watch on my wrist.

Well, I'm glad you could smugly tell us how you plan on wasting hundreds of dollars on a device that's priced well above the competition for no discernible reason.

Yes, you're absolutely right. You're cool because you're getting what everyone else is and you're not afraid to tell everyone how much you spent on it. Because in the end, the more you spend the more people want to be like you, because money and what they have is what makes a person worthwhile, not personality or character. BTW, since I'm sure you didn't get it, that was sarcasm. If that's what you really think, that's incredibly sad. So you wait to put that fabulous watch on your wrist, I'm gonna go get laid, and without a watch on my wrist no less.

You're coming off as a little butthurt. You trying to brag to not feel inferior?

If you define your place in society by what you own, that is what's sad. The reason I posted what I did was to show the idiocy of his statement. People should he defined by who they are, not what they own or what someone else's opinion, be it a person or a company, is of them. Butthurt, far from it. But when people trivialize what anyone says by saying they must be jealous because they don't feel the same way they do, there are many reasons people don't like what next person does, it's called personal choice. There are many things people don't see eye to eye on, and jealousy isn't the sole reason for their differences. Everyone has different tastes, if they didn't, the world would be a lot less interesting. Bragging? No. Just pointing out that there are better things to do than waiting by a computer to buy the next thing. It was a subtle way of pointing out that maybe he should go offline once in a while and actually be in the real world for a change. I come here when I have nothing else to do or when I've got time between doing things offline, it's a break from reality. Reality is what happens offline, not online.

So far i think huawei has the best looking smartwatch. as much as I'd love one, I don't need that sort of feature set on my wrist. So as cool as these super smartwatches. I'll probably end up with a second hand pebble or a Martian notifier.

The best looking watch would be moto 360, i feel it was a good design, a good price etc, i would love the apple watch but honestly it just serves as a notifications screen, plus $579 for a device id only wear out doors, i don't even like watch that much! but apple has a good PR team and influence

If I had 350 dollars I'd spend it (plus a little more) on a new Moto X. If I had 600 dollars I'd spend it on a Nexus 6. If I had 1000 dollars I'd spend it on a new gaming laptop. If I had 10 grand to 17 grand then I'd spend it on a new car so I can get rid of the s**tmobile I drive. Note that none of these options include "buying an Apple watch."

Smart, Apple is becoming a company of "high end" products, rare and expensive, no point, better things to spend money on
