Huawei Mate SE, MediaPad M5, and Watch 2 will get Black Friday discounts at various retailers
Hot on the heels of its Honor sub-brand, parent company Huawei has unveiled a decent full slate of Black Friday deals, coming to a number of reputable US retailers (Amazon, Walmart, and B&H included) this Sunday, November 18.
These are all set to wrap up more than a week later, i.e. on Cyber Monday (November 26), kicking off with a solid discount on an already crazy affordable smartphone, as reported by Android Authority.
The Huawei Mate SE typically retails for $250, currently fetching as little as $244 on Amazon, but looking at a more substantial $30 markdown soon. This is basically a souped-up Honor 7X with 4GB RAM and 64 gigs of internal storage space instead of 3 and 32GB respectively, making the quality/price ratio pretty much unbeatable at $220.
Up next, those in the market for a robust iPad Pro alternative at a killer price should be happy to know the entire Huawei MediaPad M5 lineup has a $40 discount in the pipeline. That means the entry-level 8.4-inch model will be available for $280 instead of $320, while the 10.8-inch Android slates are set for reduced $410 and $320 listings with and without an included M Pen stylus.
Last but not least, Huawei Watch 2 buyers will be able to save $90 and $100 on Sport and Classic editions of the popular but outdated Wear OS smartwatch, although these have been repeatedly and substantially discounted in recent months too.
