HTC sending out invitations for a February 26 event, on the cusp of Mobile World Congress 2012

HTC began sending out invitations for a February 26 event, just before Mobile World Congress 2012, which commences on the 27th, and will run through March 1st. What we got is more of the "save the date" type note, so hopefully more details will come when time nears.

Now the synchronized rumor across the tech blogosphere is that HTC will try to steal the show spotlight with the unveiling of its first quad-core handset(s), which was also mentioned by a JPMorgan analyst not long ago.

Of course, besides the Tegra 3 HTC Endeavor, we are also expecting an eventual HTC Ville with Snapdragon S4 and LTE, as well as a Windows Phone-powered HTC Radiant, so we'd be there to follow the festivities and relay to you anything grand and small that HTC has to unveil come February 26.
