HTC One in black coming soon according to AT&T and Sprint websites
After already being available in Glacial Silver from AT&T and Sprint for a couple of days, it looks like the Stealth Black version of the sexy HTC One will soon be available for both carriers. On AT&T's website on Saturday, a picture of the phone in black was put up. The model displayed is the 64GB version of the HTC One. AT&T will have an exclusive on the 64GB variant of HTC's new Android flagship model. No launch date was shown and the carrier has already put a price of $299.99 on the device with a signed two-year contract.

Meanwhile, on Sprint's website, those checking out the HTC One were greeted by a box listing some information on the device. Near the top, in bold caps, it says that the Black HTC One is coming soon. Since the version in Stealth Black for the nation's third largest carrier will have to be 32GB, the device will most likely cost the same $199.99 on contract that the silver model is priced at.

Meanwhile over at T-Mobile, the HTC One doesn't launch until this Wednesday, April 24th and the website thus far mentions only the silver version of the phone. Verizon will apparently not be offering the HTC One to its customers.

I just convinced my friend to get the One yesterday, and I'm getting it Wednesday. It looks white from 5 or more feet away. It looks silver up close. It really does look awesome in person. Pictures do it justice, but not enough. It's super thin too. Well built. Camera is better than what people are making it out to be.

I guess it can be considered Slate like that of the iPod Touch 5th and Nano 7th gen. The black HTC One would go well with my 7th gen nano... that is if Verizon ever gets the phone or a variant of it.

"hey samsung please learn" If I am not mistaken, the One is the ONLY smartphone with stereo speakers? If so, Samsung, PLEASE learn!

One vote for the black One. Is the black One available before the April 30 deadline for the $100 rebate?

It's a hard choice, it took me almost a week to choose one colour. But at last due to availability i chose the silver one.The silver looks good because you can see the design elements and the white and black combinatoin looks good.

It's indeed a tough choice between the black or silver. Both have their distinct advantages. The silver one is less of a fingerprint magnet as well as being more of an eye-catcher in a crowd, but the black one retains the uniform sexy look and is probably best for less-intrusive multimedia viewing, as it's side speakers being black, don't distract you from what's playing on the screen. If you got the silver one, you'll probably find it less annoying to enjoy the display, by covering the two white speakers with your hands. But whichever color you decide to buy, you should also get a protective cover as the premium aluminium construction; the back and especially the chamfered bezels are quite delicate and can get scuffed/scratched compared to cheap plastic. I highly recommend you get a transparent and thin case, so it doesn't hide the exquisite design and curves of the HTC One. There's no doubt that there will be hundreds of different types of cases for the HTC One in the coming months, but at this time, i'm betting on the Poetic Atmosphere case for HTC One M7. If you get the black phone, go for the clear/grey case and if you buy the silver version, then the best match is the clear/white case.

"But whichever color you decide to buy, you should also get a protective cover as the premium aluminium construction; the back and especially the chamfered bezels are quite delicate and can get scuffed/scratched compared to cheap plastic." If you don't realize how idiotic that statement is, there is something very wrong with you.

^^^ bro he aint lying. yes the S4 is made out of cheap plastic, but that plastic shell isnt nearly as prone to scratches as a dark metal alloy.

26. g2a5b0e unregistered

I never said he was lying. I said his statement was idiotic. One of the definitions of premium is something of exceptional quality or value. If aluminum is as premium as people seem to think it is, it wouldn't be delicate or get scratched/scuffed easily. If the plastic so damn cheap, it makes no sense that it is more resistant to scratches than aluminum. Clearly, aluminum is not a premium material. People just like it & label it as such because it looks good. There are way more premium metals that could be used for phones that would last much longer. Of course, they would cost a lot more money, too.

you wrong dude premium and durable is two different things for example Rolex usualy using Gold (Gold is not the most durable metal on earth). Aluminium maybe not the most premium metal but Aluminium give the solid feels (just like the other metal) thats what make Aluminium more premium than plastic (polycabonate) let me ask you GS3 is premium device with premium price, but why its not looks and feels premium if GS3 is durable smartphone why GS3 more fragile than aluminium Iphone5 i'm not talking about GS4 because i never use S4 yet but S4 uses the same polycarbonate with hyperglazed finish just like S3 i think the only premium material on S4 is Gorila glass 3 if samsung want to use ''plastic'' and give premium price tag at least make it more durable just like Nokia and Sony

34. g2a5b0e unregistered

Really, guy? The iPhone 5 bends like bubblegum & can come scuffed out the box & you're saying it's more durable than the S3? Your post is a joke.

35. yudi.nemesis unregistered

OMG you just like another fanboy who can accept the truth i said premium and durable is 2 different things S3 is more fragile than Iphone5 just drop it both of them from pocket high you will see wich one more durable or you can check drop test video from androidauthority.com you can still use the Iphone5 even with scratches and dents but you will need to fix S3 just compare 3 ''plastic'' device : 1. Lumia 920 2. Xperia acro s 3. S3 you tell me wich one more durable???

i think u have not use Nokia N8 before, it's a aluminium phone and u will never get any minor or bigger scratches on phone, because it's made by Nokia, quality speak.

40. yudi.nemesis unregistered

yeah my GS2 is good smartphone but when it comes to premium looks and feels my nokia E6-00 still better even with small scratches and dents thats maybe because i never uses any kind of case accept screen protector
