HTC One M7 (Europe) receives Android 5.0.2 update
If you have an unlocked HTC One (M7), or a One (M7) Developer edition, you have probably gotten the Android 5.0 Lollipop prompt, as HTC sent it out in the beginning of the month. Now, European users are reporting that their HTC One handsets are being updated over the air with Android 5.0.2 as we speak, too. The ROM version appears to be 7.19.401.2, and it is quite hefty at 804.8 MB of update flesh.

The One (M7) is almost 2 years old now. It was launched in March 2013, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and remains a very nice smartphone - that is, if you don't mind the fact that it features a Snapdragon 600 processor, and a 4 MP UltraPixel rear camera. With the HTC One (M9) expected to be announced later this week, the One (M7) is cheaper than ever: you can actually buy it off-contract for as low as $149, which is an amazing price for a branded handset with 1080p display, stereo speakers, and, now, with Lollipop.
