Deca-core CPU powered Meizu Pro 6 now official

Meizu has officially introduced the Meizu Pro 6. The high-end handset is equipped with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display carrying a 1080 x 1920 FHD display. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio X25 chipset containing a tri-cluster deca-core 2.5GHz CPU, and the Mali-T880 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside with 32GB/64GB of native storage. Those seeking additional storage can access the 128GB capacity microSD slot. A fingerprint scanner is included. Sporting thin bezels, the Pro 6 comes with  a version of Force Touch called 3D Press.

The 21MP rear-facing camera contains a Sony IMX 230 sensor with laser auto-focus. It features a rumored 10-LED flash, and a 5MP front-facing snapper shoots selfies and handles video chats. A 2560mAh battery keeps the lights on and goes from 0% to 100% in just 60 minutes. Available in Dark Gray, Silver, Red, Gold and Rose Gold, the phone is a slim 7.25mm thin and weighs in at 160 grams. The Pro 6 employs the Type-C USB port, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed along with Flyme 5.5. The Meizu Pro 6 supports Cat.6 4G LTE speeds with VoLTE capabilities

The 32GB version of the Meizu Pro 6 is priced at the equivalent of $386. The 64GB model will cost you $433. No word yet on availability.

Thanks for the tip!

No exynos 8890? Damn. I thought only the pro 6 mini would use the X25, according to the roadmap leak, which now we know is false.

force touch in phones is introduced huawei not by apple. huawei mate s is the first phone with force touch(3d touch) display. Apple use force touch in iphones as 3d touch.

I am not sure about that though, even though is was presented first by Huawei, Apple released is earlier and it does work a lot better on the iPhone, I gitta give them that. Who knows, maybe Apple has been developing it earlier than Huawei, but take this as a pinch of salt, doesn't really matter anyway

Huawei only did that so they could claim it before Apple. The 128GB Mate S that supports it wasn't even released properly, it was more of a 'Look, we didn't copy Apple, we did it first' move.

How dare Apple's 3D Touch copies Android. I disabled it on my iPhone 6S Plus because it is cumbersome to use. Android's long press is way more responsive. 3D Touch is a gimmick feature in my opinion. How come iPhone SE comes with Live Photo with no 3D Touch?

The size and pricing of the Meizu Pro 6 makes me think that they are going after the identical sized Huawei P9 - which is more expensive. But, for me, 5.2 is a bit small and I'm doubtful that the Pro 6's battery life will match that of their excellent Pro 5. I'm hoping that they will be coming out with a high end 5.5 device with a bigger battery. Maybe the MX 6??

I'm impressed with how meizu bent that back antenna band. For an affordable, it looks good for me.

maybe they just giveup Pro # mini model and decide to go with bigger screen, since both have helio processor and 1080p screen.. and replace flagship Pro # line with new name.. like Meizu Pro 6 Plus or Meizu Pro 6 Pro and give it exynos processor

That's the proof that Rumor is Apple's kryptonite. They literally make a Phone base on Apple's Rumor. That freaking antenna lines is base on iPhone 7 rumors long before this Phone even Announced.
