I get that this site specializes in mobile phone coverage. But if you are going to report on things like headphones, You should probably know the difference between over-the-ear headphones and on- ear headphones. Beats Solo 3 headphones are considered on-ear headphones, because that is where they sit. You have to jump up to Bears Studio series headphones if you want over-the-ear. They have that designation because that is how they fit, over your ears.

Or they should just know the difference between headphones and real headphones period. If you buy Beats by Dre........you already don't know wtf you are talking about. PA probably just pushing advertising for this garbage. You can buy headphones for half the price and are far superior in quality.

You may be correct, but what you don't get is that the average consumer doesn't know the difference in highend earphones/headphones and what they get out of the box with their phone. To them, they are more about fashion and showing off. These people want to have the flashy product to show off. They can do this with Beats and similiar product. Why? Because people know how much they paid for them. It's not about the sound at all. This happens with other products as well. Even people that care about sound will have proper headphones at home, but have a pair of Beats to show off on the go. im not one of these people, im just telling you like it is. You are way to caught in the tech part of it. It's not about that with these people. Where do you think the term "what are those" came from?
