iPhone loyalty rate hits 92% ahead of iPhone 8 release

It appears that iPhone users are extremely loyal customers. In a survey conducted this April, financial services firm Morgan Stanley established that 92% of iPhone owners who were likely to buy a new handset in the next 12 months plan to upgrade to another iPhone.

This is a sizeable 6% year-over-year increase compared to the 86% recorded by Morgan Stanley in 2016. In fact, the loyalty rate for 2017 is almost tied with Apple's all-time record of 93% documented in 2015 when the iPhone 6s was launched.

Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty puts these numbers into perspective in the research note:

These are not the only interesting revelations that can be found in the Morgan Stanley note - the Wall Street firm also predicts that there would be no delays in the arrival of the iPhone 8.

So how do you account for less iPhones being sold? Not to mention the drop in market share? I wonder if any of that is taken into account?

Where are these articles? TBH I don't click on any Android articles and I don't think many Apple users do either. Yet every Apple article has more negative comments from Android users than actual comments from Apple users which I find funny. lol

Insecure about what. The iPhone 8 isn't even here yet...but based on past iPhone, I can say with a certainty, the iPhone 8 wont take better pictures than the S8, wont look as good either. Its wireless charging if it has it, will be slower than Samsung's. It will still have a smaller battery, still own't do what my phone does already. Am sure Apple will move ot BT5.0, but it still won't do everything it does on my phone. You still wont be able to transfer files with it. I mean I can create a list of 25 things right now, the Galaxy has always been able to do, that even the newest iPhone still cant do. The only ones insecure is YOU. Because if you were secure, you wouldn't even need to mention Android fans at all. The fact is, every iPhone no matter what will always and forever do less than any Android. I personally and most certainly dont have ot be insecure because I own and use both. I use IOS for 2 reasons...I have a job that right now requires it usage and because I have media/games that only work on IOS. Even though some are available on Android, I don't like them on Android. I don' t really have or download any new apps. All the game i play actually predate iOS7. They are mostly remade old arcade games I liek to play. Since iOS11 wont support these, I basically had to buy an iPhone new enough to last me long enough to keep using them. But if the 7 plus is anything like my 4/4S, they are unusable after 2 years, while my S3 and S4 both work just as good as my S8 on many levels. I can already see Apple, mimicking Samsung talkign about the display, which belongs to Samsung. And who the iPhone 8 is 15% faster than the previos model. And wireless charging which still takes 3 hours to charge the plus model. Battery drain tests will still show the iPhone losing 80% of its battery in 2 hours of web browsing. What should I be secure about. Ifans are the only ones who argue things that have no substance whatsoever. YOU are the ones who are insecure! You always have to rant as if you are better when you arent. You all brag about the same 2 things every iPhone release...sales and profits. You cant brag about anything about the phone itself. All this hype of an iPhone before it comes out, and 3 months later you dont even be talkign about the iPhone until its time for the new one. Just search right here on PA. The last majority iPhone 7 article was way back in Jan basically. Goona prove my point right now. I just did a search on PA with just iPhone 7, so I can get all the articles that are in the title iPhone 7 http://www.phonearena.com/search/section/reviews?term=iPhone%207 As you can see, the iPhone 7 was only being talked about with early leaks, release and a few comparison in the last quarter of 2016. After that the iPhone 7 stories all but dried up until April when the S8 came out. Now to be fair, because i always try to be fair, I did the same search on PA for the Galaxy S7 or just S7 http://www.phonearena.com/search/section/rev

nearly every month teher is something about the S7...either a comparison, or whatever...good or bad...the S7 continued to have articles nearly all 12 months of 2016 up and even to when the S8 cane out. The iPhone is so boring, that PA who writes tones of Apple artless, cant write much about any specific iPhone, because there is nothign to write about. The iPhone 7 got one new feature over the 6S. After talkign about that, whatever do they have? NOTHING. Because the iPhone 7 takes worse pictures vs the 6S, PA stopped even having them in many camera caparisons, because the iPhone is goign to lose...ALL OF THEM. In fact since the S5, the iPhone has lost every camera comparisons to Samsung..PERIOD...THAT IS FACT..>NOT FICTION.. So who ie insecure We have the phone with the best display, we have a phone that has one of the fastest charging capabilities, we have split-screen, we have the best camera in a smartphone, we have the highest resolution, we gave one of the best battery lifes, we do very well in benchmarks that matter, and so much more. What does the iPhone have?

How many people with a Note 7 were injured...on,y 1. How many people were injure by an iPhone in 2016....LOTS. How many people were killed by a Note 7...ZERO. How many with an iPhone? LOTS. How many flaws do phones have? LOTS Which phone has the highest failure rate...IPHONE. Yet people keep buying them and licking on Tim Cooks balls...using YOUR words. YET PA goes trying to ban people who make sense, but they don't ban people like you because trolls create traffic,. Because for ever troll here there are 10 people who try to make sense who drive even more traffic.

I hadn't seen this news and it's already flooded with comments from android fans, like guys you should consider accepting yourselves as apple fans, since apple users don't seem to be so interested in apple news as much as you're, just make the switch to apple already I know you're eager to do it :)

Android has too many options for your average Apple user they get overwhelmed feel stupid and would rather stick with a stuck inside the box os...learning intimidates them.
