Deal: Unlocked Motorola Moto Z now costs $449.99, freebies included for a limited time
Assuming you're not waiting for one of the high-end smartphones bound to be released in the coming months, you can currently get a great deal on a pretty nice handset from last year: the Motorola Moto Z.

B&H is offering the unlocked Moto Z 64 GB for $449 ($250 off the regular price), while also throwing in a pack of freebies: a Spieltek VR Headset, a $25 B&H E-Gift card, and a smartphone photo bundle (including a 32 GB microSD card, a Xuma Mobile LED Light, Xuma Smartphone Mount, Magnus MaxiGrip Flexible Tripod, and a Pearstone microfiber cleaning cloth). Mind you, this deal ends tomorrow, February 7, at 2:59 am EST, which means you have about 8 hours to take advantage of it.

Amazon is currently selling the unlocked Motorola Moto Z for $449, too, though it doesn't offer any extra freebies. It's not clear if Amazon's deal will also expire tomorrow.

As a reminder, the unlocked Moto Z is being updated to Android 7 Nougat starting this month. The handset can be used on AT&T, T-Mobile and other GSM/LTE carriers, but does not work on Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular.

Why are you here Mxyzptlk? The far better phone is clearly the Moto Z and Z force. By a mile. Especially when the Z's have access to all the Moto mods. Plus the Z's have a SD 820 and 4 GB of ram with USB-C port, and a great AMOLED display. The Moto X pure has the SD 808 with 3 GB of ram with micro USB, and a IPS LCD display. Hands down the Moto Z is far superior to the Moto X pure. Not to mention the Moto Z's have Nougat and now support DayDream VR. The Moto X only supports CardBoard.

Don't waste my time. The MXPE is universally unlocked, has dual front firing speakers, a display that isn't AMOLED which means no burn in, isn't locked to Verizon, but don't let the butthurt get in the way of a good story.

How often do you travel? Or any average American? How often do you change carriers? I have been on at&t for years. Never going to switch to sprint or Verizon. I travel a lot (less frequent but larger distances), at the only thing I missed would be dual sim compatibility. When was the last time you saw burn in on Amolded display except in display model.
