We were the first ones to tell you that Sprint planned to launch the Touch Pro2 on Sept 3, but a customer then claimed that he was told Sept 8 in writing from customer service. Well our tipster has hit us back with an updated image to indicate that the HTC superphone is still slated for a Sept 3 launch, though now it's showing that it will launch via direct ship. Sprint usually soft-launches phones on Thursday, with an official launch Sunday, so the 8th just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Either way, it looks like we're only a few weeks away from the second major carrier release of the Touch Pro2.
