Here's when the OnePlus 7T Pro will reportedly be announced
The OnePlus 7 Pro

OnePlus has been releasing T-branded smartphones annually since 2016 and reports suggest this year will be no different. The 2019 device, which will succeed the OnePlus 7 Pro, should be marketed as the OnePlus 7T Pro and we now know when it could be announced.

Tipster Max J. who is best known for his Samsung leaks believes the OnePlus 7T Pro will make its debut on Tuesday, October 15th. The date lines up perfectly with the usual Q4 introduction timeframe but it is slightly sooner than expected – last year, OnePlus waited an extra twelve days before announcing the 6T – and it’ll also represent the earliest ever announcement for a T-branded model. For reference, OnePlus typically announces its new flagships in late October or mid-November.

In terms of what the flagship will offer, rumors suggest it could arrive powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus paired with a minimum of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage but, as per usual, separate variants with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage are to be expected. Physically, leaked photos point towards a design that won't differ too much from the OnePlus 7 Pro. The T-branded variant is expected to retain the large 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display complete with its 90Hz refresh rate and the pop-up camera system. The triple-sensor layout on the rear should be present too, although certain upgrades will likely be made.

Completing the OnePlus 7T Pro’s setup should be Android 10 Q straight out of the box alongside the latest version of Oxygen OS. A battery capacity of at least 4,000mAh is to be expected too.

I think OnePlus should increase battery sizes for both 7T and 7T Pro. 3700 mAh > 4000 mAh and 4000 mAh > 4300 mAh. Even now OnePlus devices have one of the best battery life out there, with increased capacity, it will be amazing. Of course 855+ should be there. And then likely 30+ watt charging for both models. I dunno if they can really offer much else for a mid year upgrade. UFS 3.0, stereo speakers, capable camera sensors fastest fingerprint scanners, great vibration motors, it's all already in there.

Same body and SD855+. Next year they earn the 135mm from Oppo.

Just got the OnePlus 7 Pro and it's been amazing so far. Not sure if I will update to the 7T Pro, as I'm not certain that it will be enough to warrant an upgrade, even though I'm certain it will be good. I may just wait for the OnePlus 8 Pro.

But you were just complaining about me not getting the 6T yet here you are talking about not getting the 7T Pro.

Your jealousy because I have a OnePlus 7 Pro while you don't have the phone (6T) that you proclaimed loudly was the "best phone ever" is duly noted. LMAO!

What reason would I have to be jealous of you claiming to own something?

Samsung already has 45w charging so unless oneplus matches that and releases a portable charger that's compatible I'm back to ktown for note 10. I love my 7pro but it's already dated.

It's outdated because of the charger? Yet it has 90hz and the Notes doesn't have that. Lol

I think they will increase the maximum storage tier to 512GB, now that suitable UFS 3.0 chips are here. Probably, battery will be increased from 4,000mAh to 4,100mAh or 4,200mAh on the 7T Pro.d Wireless charging might end up being on the 7T Pro, now that Qualcomm Quick Charge works wirelessly... They might increase the display to 120Hz, just to match the ROG Phone 2, but I doubt it. Obviously, the Snapdragon 855+ is a given. I think they could decide to add a unlocked 5G variant(which would make them the first company to actually release a fully global unlocked 5G phone), but it's unlikely.

The Reno already has a 10x hybrid zoom with the periscope camera, why can't OnePlus use that?

My thoughts exactly!!!! Still dunno why they didn't include it with the 7 pro. A telephoto lens that's only used for portrait? C'mon..
