No, it is not the Android 2.1 update-that won't be coming until later this quarter-but owners of the Motorola CLIQ should see some changes in their phone following a minor upgrade to firmware 1.4.8. Perhaps the most important difference is the improvement in battery life that will occur from the upgrade. The touchscreen will also be more responsive. The last time Motorola rolled out a minor upgrade for the phone, there were some issues for a small group of CLIQ owners.
