HTC looking for engineers who know their way around 3D displays and E-ink

In a recent job posting for the position of Display and Camera Design Engineer, HTC has included familiarity with 3D displays and E-ink in the job characteristics, among other things. The requirements that started the rumor mill are: "familiarity with multiple display technologies( TFT-LCD, PMOLED, AMOLED, E-ink, etc), familiarity with 3D display and imaging technologies", and "experience in illumination technologies".

From the language of the posting it seems that the approved candidate will be toying around with different vendors' display and camera technologies, while trying to determine their viability for bringing added value and innovation to HTC's products.

Sounds like a great career path, and we especially like the fact that the candidate must be accustomed to "working in a fast-paced short-cycle product team environment". The sooner we get the advanced display and camera goodies in HTC's phones, the better.
