BlackBerry 4G PlayBook appears likely to join Verizon's line-up
It was a well-kept secret, but apparently Verizon customers could have registered to participate in beta testing of the RIM BlackBerry 4G PlayBook. As you can see from the image of the web site below, the registration is now closed. Still, the implications are quite clear and it all points to a Verizon branded variant of the 4G BlackBerry PlayBook.

Originally, it appeared that Sprint was going to have the 4G PlayBook to itself, but assuming that Verizon's beta testing goes as expected, at least one other carrier will be offering the QNX flavored tablet sometime this summer.

@juanita u might get some stupid answers from people on here like go back to mexico and shit. Well some people need to grow up. Everything is possible if u do things the right way. Go to the mexican consulate and get a matricula consular card for 27 bucks and a mexican passport for 120 bucks. Verizon and at&t and sprint all accept the matricula consular and mexican passport to get contract phones also there going to need ur itin number so get that.. So u dont need to use a fake id or fake social security number. I know this because i have immigrant friends that went to get contract phones at at&t ,verizon nd sprint with those 3 things mexican passport ,matricula consular and itin number and a deposit if u have the money go for it. Cuz they will also ask for a 250 dollar deposit that u will get back at the end of the year if u pay u bill on time. So if u have da money to do it go for it. U really think cellphone companies are going to care who uses there service? As long as they get more customers better for them

I work for sprint and I have had a good amount of ppl come back with no deposit using their mexican consular card. The most I have seen is $100 deposit.

@ jenna i didnt kno at&t and sprint accepted the mexican consular card i know verizon does but at&t and sprint?? thats coo cuz my friend wants to get an iphone on at&t but he dnt have papers so ima tell him to try.. its funny how people dnt approve of mexican consular cards but they cant do anything about them ... they can blacklight it scan it do all kinds of test to them and cant do a thing cuz they real ids that have a magnetic strip on the back with all the persons info . im saying cuz i seen it happen before . like in clubs immigrant people use it and the people at the door always think there fake and do all kinds of test to them but then they see there real so they finally let the person go in like 10 minutes later ..
