Asus MeMO 370T hands-on
The first thing we did when we arrived at Asus’ CES 2012 booth at the Trump Hotel was browse around for the MeMO 370T that is supposed to be another quad-core Android tablet for the US market and when we found it we kind of got to go hands-on with it.

The MeMO 370T that Asus had on display was nothing more than a mockup. We were disappointed to say the least since we really didn’t get to do a true hands-on with it. However we did get to learn some specs about it.

It is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet and it will indeed ship with the Tegra 3 quad-core processor, although they didn’t specify what it would be clocked at. It has a 7-inch IPS display that we would assume is similar to that of the MeMO 171 and if that’s the case the screen is great. It also is supposed to have the same 178 degree viewing angle as the MeMO 171.

We can’t really say much about the size, build quality or really anything in terms of hardware because it is just a pre-production mockup. It does of course have a camera as an 8 megapixel auto-focus camera calls the back of the tablet home. There was no word on if there is a front-facing camera present but there didn’t appear to be one on the dummy unit.

Hopefully when the Asus MeMO 370T gets closer to its launch we will be able to do a real hands-on with it. Until then all we can do is drool over its specs and count down the days until its arrival.
