Amazon joins unlocked LG G7 ThinQ availability party with a discount of its own
Even though the G7 ThinQ is by no means a bad phone, ticking essentially all the right boxes to be described as a robust, modern high-ender, the recent launch of a slightly better V35 ThinQ with an OLED screen and no notch has pretty much overshadowed the not-so-old LG flagship.

Unsurprisingly, the first US retailer to sell an unlocked variant of the LG G7 ThinQ took quick action by discounting the handset shortly after its commercial debut. Best Buy also offered a couple of decent deals in recent weeks, although not everyone is comfortable signing up for a monthly installment plan with Sprint.

Now Amazon has finally joined the party as well, kicking off direct G7 ThinQ sales at an already marked-down price of $649.99. That obviously includes a valid US warranty, and you’re free to take the unlocked device and activate it on your network of choice, whether it’s using GSM technology (like T-Mobile and AT&T) or CDMA (like Verizon and Sprint).

Both B&H Photo Video and Amazon are kind enough to allow buyers to choose from “Aurora Black” and “Platinum Grey” models, while Best Buy continues to sell just the former version unlocked.

Best Buy also charges the highest rate of the three, although technically, $679.99 is still a cool $70 off the phone’s recommended retail price. Meanwhile, B&H’s $120 instant savings promotion is apparently set to expire at 11:59 pm ET on Saturday, July 28, so if you want to score this bad boy at $629.99 with an Avoda tempered glass protector included for no extra cash, it’s probably a good idea to pull the trigger as soon as possible.
