The White House? There's an app for that
Share:
With a president who clings to his BlackBerry like the fanatic he is, it should not be surprising that the White House has launched an app. For now, it is available to be downloaded on the iPhone only. The app offers up a collection of behind the scenes photos and stories, live video streaming and on-demand video. With President Obama's State of the Union address coming up, this is being released at a good time for the American public to get a view of a not too often seen look at the workings of an administration while on the go. The official release from the White House said, "Now anyone with this app can watch the President’s public events at the
White House, frequent web chats with Administration officials, and
other events like key speeches and press briefings in real time." Ironically, President Obama will not be able to download this app on his trusty 'Berry for now and we're pretty sure he'd rather fight than switch.

Now if they'd just give him an app that thinks for him he might could actually become a good president.
