T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II also gets an update that brings Wi-Fi calling
According to a couple of internal memos, the mighty T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II will also be blessed with Wi-Fi functionality thanks to a new software update that’s being rolled out starting today. Available as an over-the-air update or through Kies Mini, users can install the software update to reap all the rewards of Wi-Fi calling – plus, it comes in handy when signal reception to the network isn’t that great.
Android 2.3.5, with the software version being T989VUVKL1. Moreover, it’ll also pack along caller ID and battery enhancements to better improve the handset’s usability.
